Chubby cheekers... {june lake california photographer}

My BIL and his wife came up from SoCal for the holiday weekend and my SIL wanted some family pics. I was, of course, more than happy to oblige. ;)

I mean... who wouldn't wanna take pics of those chubby little cheeks?! I may be biased, but I think he's pretty dang adorable. :)

Here are just a few for now..... I'm still proofing, so... I'm sure I'll have more to add later.

OH YA!!!!! One more thing.... I have a little sometin' somehin' in the works right now. It's an idea I've been tossing around for a little while, and have decided to move foward with it. It's pretty cool. I'll be posting an announcement about it in the coming weeks, so.... keep an eye out!

 
 

  
 

end of the year session....

This is *one* of my last sessions of 2009 (I have a couple more before the Holiday...).

This was such an adorable family! And their little baby.... only 4 months old and those eyes!!! Oh my... his momma needs to lock him up... those eyes will melt any girls heart for sure! It was so cold and he yet he was so happy the whole time. Even after getting pulled in and out of his carseat abut a dozen times.... he was such a good sport. ;-)

Thanks so much "A" family.... it was such fun. Sessions like these are why I love what I do. I mean... who wouldn't wanna take pictures of such a cutie little guy?! I'm so lucky.

Michigan Trip! {Livingston County Photographer, Southeast Michigan Photographer}

The holidays are right around the corner and the hubs and I are thinking of spending Christmas in the "Mitten State". ;-)

We are still working out the details. BUT.... I wanted to put the word out and see who would want a session while I'm there.

MINI SESSION: $150- up to 4 persons, 30 mins of shooting, and 10-15 images on CD with limited copyright release.

FULL SESSION: $250- up to 6 people (each additional person is $10), 45-90 mins of shooting, and 20-30 images on CD with limited copyright release.

Let me know if you'd like to book a session while we're there. I will have a VERY limited number of slots during this trip... so book early!! :)

Remember this post??? Well... I wanted to post some examples of the FAB holiday cards you can  get when you book a Holiday Mini Session, or when you book a regular session. ;-)

Mother and Daughters {sneak peek}

I shot these lovely ladies over the weekend. Can we say GORGEOUS!!! Thsi was a birthday present for mom, sweet huh?? I though so. ;-)

They were sooooo fun to shoot! Seriously, laughing the whole time..l oved them!!

Hope you like them ladies! And, it's a good thing we did them when we did.... I drove by the location today, and about 90% of the trees have either turned brown.. or have already lost all their leaves.

FiRsT EvEr BLOG CONTEST!!!!! {woohoo}

Be excited!!! It's Whitney McCoy Photography's FIRST EVER BLOG CONTEST!

For those that remember, I talked about a blog contest back in July.... well.... here it is!!!

HOW IT WORKS:

Below you will find 4 photos from sessions I did in Michigan, as well as before I left for Michigan. All you need to do is vote for your fave. The contest will run from today, Tuesday, October 6th, thru next Tuesday, October  13th. To vote, simply email me at whitney@whitneymccoyphotography.comwith the subject "October Blog Contest". You will need to include your name, the number of your fave photo, your state, and how you heard about the contest. Only votes with the required info will be counted!

 

WHAT THEY WIN:

The winner of the contest will receive a canvas print of the image of their choice from their session. They can choose from any size (14x14 and smaller). Canvas prints come ready to hag on premium wooden stretcher frames.

THE RULES:

Being my first blog contest, I really want it to go well. You may vote ONCE PER DAY! Voting will close Tuesday, October 13th @ midnight PST. Only valid email addresses and names PLEASE! New Packages! {woohoo :) }

YAY for new things!!! I have decided it's time to re-vamp my "pricing" and what-not. Do not fear... prices have not gone up. ;-) And.. I have actually gotten rid of my "session fee"'. :)

Introducing.... PACKAGE PRICING!!! Oh I am sooo excited to offer this to all of you, my fab clients. :) I put together the packages in such a way that you can still pick whatever size prints you want, and also get some stuff for free! {yay for free!}

You can find the new packages on my website... but... I am also listing them here.. for all to see, and be excited about! {see below}

Starting in October 2009 Whitney McCoy Photography will no longer be doing "session fees with al a carte print ordering". Instead, I will be offering packages. Each package will offer a different level of print credit. So, you will still be able to order whatever size prints you want, but instead of a session fee with only a $50 print credit, you will get a larger print credit, along with a CD of your images, and a Story Board.

Simply look over the packages and decide which one will work best for you. Also, if you choose a smaller package, and decide later that you want a larger one, you can 'upgrade' your package at your proofing/ordering session. You may also purchase additional prints above and beyond your "print credit" limit. You will receive 10% off any print orders above your print credit amount.

PACKAGES
The Marley~ $250: includes a $50 print credit, a CD with 5 edited images, and a 5x15 story board.

The Ashley~ $300: includes a $100 print credit, a CD with 10 edited images, and a 5x15 story board.

The Cohen~ $400: includes a $150 print credit, a CD with all the edited images from your session, and a 10x20 story board.

*PLEASE NOTE: Package prices are for up to 4 persons, each additional person is $10. CD's will include web-ready images, as well as full size images with limited copyright release. That means, you may use the CD to order more prints  from your choice of print companies only. You may *NOT* alter the images in anyway (besides cropping), or claim them as your own. To do such violates US Copyright law. Print credits may *not* be used towards the purchase of cards or announcements.

So.... there you have it! How cool huh?! I'm excited about it, and hope you are as well.

Oh yes.... one more thing.... with the upcoming Holiday season I'm sure you are all thinking about those great custom photo Christmas cards. Well.... I'll be offering some mini-sessions for people who want Holiday Cards only. More details to come.. so keep a watch out!
